Welcome to the Blessington Educate Together National School Website. This state-funded multi-denominational primary school is co-educational, child-centred and democratically run. Situated in a quiet, pleasant rural setting close to Blessington lakes and about 1.5 miles from Blessington village, the school grounds extend to 1 hectare and include a basketball court, school garden and a playground. The pupils, teachers, Student Council, Board of Management and Parents’ Association work collaboratively, making our school a close- knit community.
Our pupils learn to respect different beliefs and diversity within the community. Our weekly assemblies bring the whole school together to acknowledge individual achievements and celebrate special events. Sports Days, Family BBQs, gardening days, school musicals and fundraising events provide opportunities for the school community to come together.
GAA training in conjunction with local clubs, an organic garden, drama and musicals, entrepreneurial projects and community events are some of the extra curricular opportunities for learning.
